Structures and facilities
Visibility over elevated structures and hard-to-access areas.

Application and objective
Roofs, façades, steel structures and industrial facilities can be documented beyond ground-level observation. The acquisition plan considers the required level of detail and site risks while aligning with facility procedures.
Acquisition and quality criteria
Records indexed by building element help locate apparent changes such as corrosion, coating discontinuities and visible roof damage. Image resolution and viewing angles must suit the required detail. Concealed elements, inaccessible faces and areas without coverage are documented as survey limitations.
What the project can cover
- —Definition of structural elements and inspection points.
- —Image acquisition to observe apparent conditions.
- —Recording of locations requiring further assessment.
Planned deliverables
Image archive and observation report identifying the inspected elements. Additional products and specialist opinions are defined according to project needs.
Aerial images do not determine structural capacity and do not replace assessments, testing or inspections by qualified professionals when required.
Identified records
Images and observations organised using the asset reference defined for the project.
Agreed outputs
Formats, analysis depth and acceptance criteria established in the proposal.
Information for project assessment
Provide the location, approximate extent, asset type, objective, schedule and any access restrictions. Feasibility and final scope are confirmed after assessing these conditions.

Can I commission a one-off survey?
Yes. The proposal may cover one survey or recurring campaigns, subject to the objective, feasibility and access conditions.
Does the survey replace a technical assessment?
Not automatically. Data acquisition, analysis and formal technical assessment are distinct activities. Where required, professional responsibility and associated documentation must form part of the scope.
